The Patterson Lakes Community Centre is a not-for- profit organisation that has been in operation since 1985. 

In 2008-2009 the Centre under went major redevelopment which has included new halls, office facilities, and a complete refurbishment of the existing building! Included in the redevelopment was the building of a Kingston Library including computer facilities.

Kiosk

Our kiosk (canteen) is open throughout the week thanks to our volunteers!

If you have some time to spare we would love to open the Kiosk more regularly for hungry patrons!

Classes & Activities

The Centre offers a range of social, recreational and personal development activities for all ages.

Hall Hire

The Centre is also a very popular venue for all types of special occasions! 

Hall Hire is available seven days a week for meetings, seminars, children's parties, anniversaries, fundraisers, AGM's,

The people behind the scenes...

The Centre is managed by a Committee of volunteers from local and surrounding areas.  

NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS WELCOME!!! For more information please contact the office!

The Committee employs a full time Co-ordinator and two part time staff who are responsible for the day to day 
operation of the Centre, there are also two program Co-coordinators, 5 Gymnastics Coaches and a variety of tutors.  
In addition we have 3 Junior Volunteer Trainee Gymnastics Coaches.

The Committee relies heavily on volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks such as fundraising, special events, gardening, administration and maintenance and kiosk.

The Centre is always looking for volunteers!

The City of Kingston Library has been a successful new feature adjoining the Centre for a year now! Including the Computer Room, and great activities including story time the Library has proven a hub of activity! For all information regarding the Library please contact the Kingston Information & Library Service.
